Lagrima is a white port - The grapes; Codega, Malvasia Fina and Rabigato come from areas where a high degree of ripening can be achieved. Intense aromas of honey, chamomile and orange blossom. The honey hints can be found in the taste and aftertaste along with ripe fruit. A white port with a sweet character, but retaining freshness. This port is drunk cold between 6 and 10 degrees Celsius. Perfect combination with Foie Gras, duck liver or fine pâtés. Also great in combination with apple or pear desserts. By combining such a dessert with the Foie Gras you are in heaven!
Adriano Reserva white is a unique glass of white port. This port matures on average 7 years instead of the usual 3 years for Reserva port. This white port is made from; Codega, Malvasia Fina, Rabigato and Viozinho. An intense and complex nose full of tropical notes and hints of balsamic vinegar. Fruity intense and spicy taste. A big difference with the white port Lagrima, because the Adriano has a tropical and slightly less sweet character. But it is also great in combination with Foie gras, pastries, fresh ice cream and older cheeses.
Adriano Reserva red is also a unique glass of Tawny port. This port also matures on average 7 years, instead of the usual 3 years for Reserva port. This red port is made from Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão, Touriga Franca. This port is close to a 10 year old, so think of combinations with nuts and dried fruit, the traditional pie de nata and cheeses such as young cheddar or Reypenaar.
Collect a Ruby port. The name says it all, a collection of different young blends and grape varieties. For optimal extraction, the must ferments in contact with the skins and seeds. After 4 to 5 days, the fermentation is interrupted with the addition of 20% distilled spirit. Intense scents of dried figs, plums, blackcurrants and cherries meet you. The fruity and sweet character of this glass is perfectly balanced. Great in combination with chocolate and or chocolate desserts, but also think of game and duck in particular with this port.
